Madhu’s first job was at Lintas India, where she joined as a trainee writer over 25 years ago. And has stayed ever since. She jokes – I never felt I had to leave ‘for more experience’ because people change, brands change, work models change… and so she has worked by now in every agency in Mumbai! And on a more serious note – there is no other agency she would rather work with. This is her home and her family. One doesn’t change family every couple of years, do they?

Madhu has handled a vast and diverse portfolio from Cadbury’s, Johnson’s baby, Carefree, Stayfree, Britannia biscuits, MRF Tyres, Band-Aid, Savlon, Acuvue contact lenses, Rexona, Liril, Lifebuoy, Bajaj, Sony Entertainment Television, Pepsodent, Fair & Lovely, Clinic Plus, Clear Shampoo, Pureit water purifiers, Axe, MCX, ICICI bank, Wall’s ice cream, LG, Vim, Domex, Astra spread, Blue band, Knorr soups…

A few years ago she moved into a global role, taking on creative leadership on the Clear anti-dandruff shampoo, and Unilever’s revolutionary new water purification device, Pureit, working with creative talent from MullenLowe offices all over the world.

Madhu’s interest is in creating insightful ideas that form the fundamentals of a brand. Her two areas of special interest are things to do with children and beauty.

Outside of work, Madhu’s passions are creating an eco-friendly farm, mosaic making, patchwork and travelling.
