Less than half a percent of mobile phone users, use a Bluetooth headset. Despite being around for a long time the device has not been able to become popular because it lacked practicality, it’s almost as expensive as some phones, they need a separate charger, separate storage etc. etc.

Micromax Van Gogh is a revolutionary phone which comes with a built-in Bluetooth headset that charges while being in its dock, is convenient to store and use. And as a consequence the consumers finally have a real Bluetooth option.

Lowe Lintas & Partners found a simple insight for Van Gogh’s communication. Consumers never really stop doing whatever they are doing and hence keeping one hand occupied to handle phone just makes it very inconvenient and awkward.

The plot portrays Micromax brand ambassador Akshay Kumar (successful bollywood actor), in yet another interesting character, that of an eccentric scientist who ‘cures’ the people suffering from the ailment of keeping one hand stuck to the ear (holding the phone).

The film tries to communicate a simple point: you can now join the hands free world with the built-in Bluetooth handset with Micromax Van Gogh. The story keeps the viewers guessing the truth, revealed at the very end.
